Blunt Force Truth: You are not here to save anyone. So just let go of that hero complex. No one needs saving, not even you. All you’re doing is justifying your victim mentality. The hero perpetuates this victim mentality be keeping the victim held in their own story rather than freeing them. The hero becomes an energy vampire in this way, sucking energy from the victim to feed their own mental complex. In that way the hero also becomes the villain, a split personality of archetypes that do not serve the victim in any way other than to drain them. What if instead, you can step into your own power, freeing yourself of the victim, hero, and villain archetypes? You can! It’s completely up to you. You don’t need saving, all you have to do is step out of your own story, seeing it through different perspectives (tell your story without being held to you story). This is why some say you can’t help those who can’t help themselves, because when you step into someone’s story you hold them to that story. Want to help someone? Don’t save them (obviously this doesn’t apply in emergency rescue scenarios). Let them find their way, because how they do that is exactly what’s perfect for them at the time. All you have to do is be a guiding light! Now it’s good to know that, isn’t it? And if you wish to step out of your own victim story, stop perpetuating it by acting like you’re saving others. You’re not. Just be there for others. That is all. Thank you. It is done. It is done. It is done.
