Blunt Force Truth: Ancients knew how to wage war, and they documented their methods well. One thing they all agreed upon was this:
Know your enemy.
But how many in this modern world hold hatred in their hearts, knowing not a single thing about their “enemy?”
We are taught to hate for differences of nationality, religion, and skin color–nobody’s born hating.
Those who propagate this system of beliefs thrive on the ignorance toward the “others.” Because once you know them, you see that they have similar values as you.
Knowledge trumps hatred.
You must look within.
If you know just one thing about the “enemy,” then there is something within yourself where that hate arises.
Something within that one might not be able to accept about him or herself, and that becomes projected outward.
When one does nothing to love those dark parts, they multiply and consume, leading to even more hatred and ignorance. So much so that those calling for a wall don’t even know that it was already funded, and the money went into the pockets of those in charge while nothing was actually done. Ignorance and hatred are being incubated for the rich to get richer. The real enemy is greed and corruption, and that’s something we know very well.
Is this something that can be defeated with knowledge?
Self-love?
Deep shadow work?
