Here’s a little piece of information to put it all in perspective: We are all just learning this together. We’re all just figuring things out.
You might have thought, in the past, that adults had everything all figured out already. It is only through adulting that we find out for each and every one of us, how little humanity knows.
And that gives you the opportunity to be a child again!
Because you don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t even have to know what the next step is just to take the first step. Did you when you learned to walk? Maybe a little research and reading on the internet first before taking those first steps? Did you have to ask for instructions? Or did you just want the cookies on that counter?
Just go for it. We’ll figure this out together. Because we’re all in this together! You’ll get to that next step when you get to it, and we’ll figure it out then.
And if you stumble and fall, just keep getting back up. That’s how it’s done. We figure this shit out one step at a time.
So give yourself some loving even if you don’t know what’s next. And when you see others stumbling, know that they’re just figuring things out to. That allows you to help. To give compassion and support.
And even if you don’t know how, you’ll figure it out and have unlimited support in doing so.
That’s why we’re all in this together.
