Whether it’s racism, sexism, or any other kind of hate, there is a common thread. Hate is hate. And it can only be present when there’s an absence of love in one’s heart. A lack of loving oneself.
And here’s the one thing that every single person with hate shares in common:
Choice.
Simply, hate is a choice.
It may not have been someone’s choice when they received programming to hate at a very young age, but it’s their choice now to own it. It’s their choice to keep it present and active. And their choice not to look beyond it into the field of ever-present infinite possibilities that will transmute any and all hate back into love.
That’s why you can’t argue with someone who’s hating. They’ve already made their choice. And that’s their path.
But what if instead, we could choose love over all else? How would that change things if we could reach into that field of infinite possibilities and bring out even more love?
We can.
Do that.
It’s as easy as choosing love.
