The Soul of a Scientist

From the dawn of human societies, there have been the seekers of truth, the philosophers, those who question existence.  Today, we are the scientists.  We question reality in order to understand our nature and how we came to be.  Across eons and generations, our methods have changed and refined over time.  But the one key property of humanity that stands the test of time is its ability to explain the unknown and spread the knowledge.

From some of the earliest civilizations, these were the teachers of spirituality, science, and the arts.  So what makes today’s scientists tick.  Do we share the same passions as the ancients?  For many including myself, the answer is yes.  Beneath the exterior shell of the human being is a soul that is in essence, a seeker.  What is a soul?  It is that which drives us.  Think of the body as a vehicle.  Education is the destination.  The soul is our thoughts, our creations, even our physical manipulations of our own genome as we adapt.  The soul is a driving force that guides us to our destination towards higher education.  Knowledge is what the soul uses as nourishment.  Thought grows more powerful within through this life-long process.

There are many avenues of higher knowledge.  To be a scientist, these avenues are not closed or limited as some may assume.  Many scientists choose religion, following beliefs and supplementing with science.  Others follow disbeliefs, or atheism, taking a hard-line interpretation of lack of known data.  Is either approach right or wrong?  In science there are no absolute rights and wrongs – only exploration.  As I like to say, let the data do the talking.  Those who choose to follow beliefs or disbeliefs are doing so by their own choice to define their own path.  Each path represents opposite ends of a pole, and one may also choose a more balanced approach as opposed to holding a pole by one end or the other.  If you were walking a tight rope, would you want to balance from one end of the pole?

As a scientist, I follow the methodologies set by the great minds before me.  But I have found myself in a spiritual setting, as I have found many of the scientific topics to agree with what I feel spiritually.  It is a way of receiving confirmation before submitting work, and to me, it is the fulcrum of the pole.  It is me center where I find balance.  I have found that this works for me.  However, others may criticize me because it leads to different thinking.  In the past, such thinking was forbidden by the church.  Even today, some people can be blacklisted by scientific publications if their data contradicts what the scientific establishment has agreed upon.  This has made today’s scientific establishment somewhat dogmatic.  It also makes it very difficult for an individual to achieve credibility, unless that individual is actively engaged within the academic system.

I want to let the world know that I am defining my own scientific approach, thus following my own path.  I have a very controversial scientific proposal, based on known and observed scientific data of the universe as a whole and its creation. My proposal is being released in a book rather than attempting to push it to scientific publications.  There are many reasons for this.  First, I want to tell my story.  I want to encourage others and let them know that discovery is found within, as I did.  Second, I want to maximize my exposure to all interested souls out there in the world like me .  I started my research after earning a Masters degree, but realized that staying in academics would limit my exposure.  Scientific publications are great for institutions and students, but paywalls prevent all from seeing published research.  I found this system to be only self-serving to those in the institutions.  I am not saying my way s better, however it is the right path for me.  I have received spiritual confirmation verifying this feeling, and I have only the best intentions with spreading the knowledge of our universe’s origins with my upcoming book, Grand Slam Theory of the Omniverse.

This work represents a thought that grew in the last 20 years and became not only a scientific proposal, but a complete book that summarizes the greatest accomplishments of modern scientists leading up to the proposal of the Omniverse.  Every scientist credited in my book put their heart and soul into their work and were rewarded by following their path.  This is the true soul of a scientist.  It is the driving force to discover.  And what I discover is truly astounding – my self.  By taking the journey within the mind  have unlocked the secrets of the universe.

This is my path, and I encourage all who wish to join me.  Please follow my fb page (fb.com/GrandSlamTheory) for more information and news about my upcoming books, which also include the children’s book Treepeople of Tepui.  You can also go to GrandSlamTheory.com for information and download the FREE White Paper.  And don’t forget to follow my WordPress blog.  Thank you for reading and sharing interests in our origin!!!  Love the universe you’re in!

“As a lotus flower is born in water, grows in water
and rises out of water to stand above it unsoiled,
so I, born in the world, raised in the world having overcome the world,
live unsoiled by the world.”
