Blunt Force Truth: If people believe they must be saved, then they’ll put themselves in situations they will need to be saved from.
This is a form of externalizing one’s own power. Instead of relying on oneself, they seek redemption through others.
In other words, they think someone else will save them.
We all have the power to make change.
We all have the shared responsibility to make this a better world, not only for our children and grandchildren, but for ourselves right here and right now.
Don’t expect someone else to clean up after your mess.
Do something to help with this planet! Climate change is real and it ain’t going away by denial. Does anything? Ever? No, we all have a part.
And don’t look for others for love and compassion. Embody this wholly within yourself!
The more you raise your bar to love unconditionally and just be compassionate (it’s really not hard at all to do), the less you need saving by someone or something else.
Because you find your power.
As it should be.
You have the power to love.
You have the power to be ever-increasingly compassionate.
And you have the wisdom to know that we are all in this together and we all have a shared responsibility to live the best lives we can.
So when you make that shift internally to be even more loving and compassionate and take action to help others in community and globally, you take yourself out of situations where maybe in the past, you would have needed to be saved.
Thank you. It is done it is done. It is done.
