An important question: Should spiritual practices and personal transformation be free? Is it an inherent right that we have free resources and tools to make our lives better?
I AM a supporter of free resources, yet as a professional, one could never make a living doing all free work, and that would make it virtually impossible for you to find the tools you need. They simply wouldn’t be available.
And people evaluate what’s offered to them based not only on cost, but the value of what they receive. Some will only need what’s already offered for free. Others find even more value in something they have put their hard-earned money towards. And they’re the ones that get the most out of it compared to those who were given a free ride. Makes you think…
Maybe it’s not the cost you pay–but the value you give to something.
What else do we value in life? What basic necessities are most important in terms of the time, energy, and resources we spend on them?
Well there’s housing, food, and education. Those are things everyone needs. And if we base our value only on necessity, then shouldn’t these also be free? How do we view these differently than personal growth? Isn’t that also a form of education? And what then for all of the educators, farmers, and builders, how will they make a living to afford the other necessities?
Are we doing our society favors by making people live in poverty just because they provide something we think should be free? How would people make a living?
Even if somebody provides goods or services like personal transformation, they still have a right to live the life they desire. They still invest years of practice and education, just to do what they do, and you might not know that looking only at the surface. Just like a musician with decades of experience and touring just to get the one song you like played on Spotify. Think about that.
Think about the lifetime someone has spent in order to give you something for free. What then, will you return? What can you?
This is why we encourage all to help others grow and encourage them to make better living for themselves through their own business practices. Because we all get ahead this way.
Never hold anything back, or it is your own success you’re limiting.
