Maybe you can’t solve a problem with the same thought process that created it. But you can write an entire new book using the same words. You can create any piece of art from the same colors. You don’t have to invent a new language or color palette every time, so why would you have to invent a new way of thinking?
They happen naturally and progressively. You’re not reinventing language, you’re just changing how you use it to express new ideas.
So what this says is that you do have the power to change things with the resources you have at hand right now.
You don’t have to invent new thought processes to solve problems happening today–you can just change what you do with existing tools.
And THAT creates something new.
