There’s a science behind every “sixth sense.”
Ever notice how so many people call themselves empaths? No, they’re not crazy, even if some people say so (those individuals just might not understand — yet).
Modern neurology shows us the functions of a little miracle we call mirror neurons. It’s an evolutionary advantage that assists learning. And allows you to feel emotions when you see someone expressing the same emotions. Like when you watch a movie and sync with the characters’ feelings. It happens. And it’s ok if you cried during the movie.
So doesn’t it make sense that people who are more empathic simply tap into the function of their mirror neurons even more?
Even if you don’t, because it’s your nervous system, it adapts and changes. It grows when you use it more, just like muscles. And all you have to do is experience someone doing it, and it becomes automatic.
Because mirror neurons.
