Life’s kinda funny. Like, you can allow yourself to think you’re in control. Even though you’re not. Because another you is. You think you’re in control so as soon as you let go of the need to be in control, it becomes automatic again. You only have to know that you can be in control, so then you can let go of needing to be in control. Just like breathing. You can control your breath, yes, but you don’t have to. You don’t stop breathing when you stop thinking about it–it just becomes automatic. So let go of the notion that you must control and simply allow your subconscious to take care of things. That’s what it’s there for.
