I have decided to make friends with my sadness. Because it’s telling me something very important. The only way I’m going to get the message is by sitting with it and letting it express itself. Where is it coming from? The body sends signals of what it needs. Depression is linked to unhealthy diet, so many times the body is just telling me to eat more vibrant, colorful, healthy and delicious foods. The soul sends messages too. Messages of longing for something greater. Longing for love. For acceptance. For understanding. And longing is the nature of divine love! So, by sitting with sadness and loving it, allowing it to naturally flow, you can be inspired to embody even more healthful and loving lifestyles. What’s not to love about that?
