You can be right or you can be happy, right? That’s what the meme says. So tell me then, how does it make you happy shutting yourself down? How can it make you happy if you don’t allow yourself to express your own emotions or feelings? Why does something you read online seem like good advice when it’s just conditioning you to inflict even deeper emotional wounds upon yourself? What if instead, you look at the situation without judging who’s right or wrong? You can transcend the duality and stop fighting over right or wrong simply be acknowledging and voicing your feelings in any and every situation. It’s not about being happy and inflicting even deeper, gashing wounds upon your already hurt emotional state. It’s about being heard and doing something to heal yourself regardless of the outcome of the situation. Because when you heal, you show up even more for everyone else, and you give them the same chance to be heard that you give yourself. You give them the same chance to heal that you give yourself. You give them the same chance to love themselves like you love yourself when you honor your feelings. So don’t shut yourself up just because you think you’re making the other person happy. You’re only deepening your own wounds and leaving the others with that mess to clean up. It’s simple. Be heard. Be healed. Thank you. It is done. It is done. It is done.
