We never really lose anyone—they simply transition into another state of being.

We share this common state of being before, during, and after our lives. Because we exist in the living and spiritual dimensions, we have ties to our loved ones, soul mates, soul family, and twin flames. Sometimes, our spiritual ties may become attachments in the living. This can happen in either dimension.

Attachments, from either side, can literally weigh us down.

The living realm is attached to the physical laws, making life possible. Yet we add other attachments throughout our lives. Sometimes attachments are carried forward when we transition, and that can weigh the spirit down.

The image of the light at the end of the tunnel is a visualization of the journey one takes in their transition. When spirits let go, they become light as a feather blowing naturally in the breeze. This begins their journey. But if we hold onto them or they hold onto us during the transition, they might not find the light right away. This can be for many reasons. Spirits may want to get messages through to the living—or they might be so weighed down that they don’t even know they have passed. 

There is a very simple process to help release attachments, allowing spirit to naturally transition.

You’re invited to think about someone in your life who’s passed. How did you treat each other in life? Trust your intuitive wisdom. Take a moment to think, not to relive the past, but to gather the higher teachings…

Was there trauma, anger, fear, sadness, guilt, or regret,? How did the emotions serve you? What did you gain from this experience? What was the highest intent of that? When they were passing, did either of you experience any regret? Was there something you wanted to say to them but didn’t? What was the highest intent? Just look at yourself as if you were floating above, seeing clearly into the two souls interacting. See the energy. The love. The lighest intent was how it served you positively.

Knowing that you’ll reach the highest intent while also letting go completely, are you ready to help them cross over with ease and grace for the highest good in the here and now, and to be consciously aware? Are you 100% free of objection?

Allow yourself to connect with your loved ones and be consciously aware, witnessing yourselves in the same space…

Access the love between you two, as this will be an unbreakable bond. See and feel the bond as if it were a steel cable of love connecting you.

Picture a torus shape opening up (like a donut) with the two of you in the middle. The torus is constantly in motion, washing over you with pure unconditional love. Just like water flowing. The universe flows in, around, and through you.

Allow energy to wash through you, illuminating any trauma that may have occurred in the past and letting it flow into a ball of light appearing in the middle. Ask the spirit, do you fully support me letting go of this trauma? Forgive the spirit for any harm they may have done during the living.

Now invite the presence of Archangels Gabriel and Michael. Allow Archangel Michael to unsheathe his magnificent sword and when the time is perfect for you, to cut any and all strings of attachment, leaving only the cords of love between you and your loved ones. With one swing of the sword, all attachments are cut. Thank Archangel Michael for releasing any and all attachments as they all flow effortlessly into the ball of light.

Allow Archangel Gabriel to take the ball of light as she rises with it higher and higher, lifting all of the weight you once held, going even higher until it is gone. Thank her for removing the weight and transmuting it back to love.

Now envision a portal opening above you and your loved one. When they go through, they will be with you anytime, anywhere. This is the true nature of spirit. Anything that was unsaid will automatically be known.

Together, we release them as a beam of light extends down from within the portal.

Notice how they become light as a feather, free to let the wind take them now, with nothing to hold them back.

Allow them to let go.

Allow the light to pull them in. You don’t have to do anything and neither do they. The light transmutes their energy, releasing even the timeline of their living experience, and remembering everything.

Feel them becoming ever-present as they go through the light, emerging within the energy of the torus surrounding you. See them once again, face-to-face, eye-to-eye, knowing that each others’ messages have been heard and acknowledged.

Allow them to come back to you anytime that is needed, wherever you are. They will be here to guide you and protect you, always. Just as you have done for them.

When the time is perfect for you, bring yourself back fully into the now. All of your attachments have been let go. Take care of yourself. Listen to the emotions that arise. Love them. Don’t try to push them away, and don’t let anyone tell you how to feel. Ever. Just let it be. This is how you process. You give yourself space for healing. You give your inner child a voice that needs to be heard. And your loved ones are eternally here with you and your inner child, protecting you. It is ok to feel the way you do.
